A closet computer geek, I enjoy social media and learning how it can help me in my field of work. I have discovered so many people needing help with their online marketing, web presence and general computer skills. I love to teach and get so much happiness from seeing people grow in confidence so decided to start offering workshops and consultations.
I offer regular workshops in Palmerston North for women wanting to learn more about social media, online social networking and how they can use the internet to promote their business. I don't want money to be a barrier for women wanting to upskill in this area so keep the charge to just $30 for the workshop. Equally, giving back to the community is very important to me, so the profits of these workshops go to a selected charity. These workshops give women an understanding of social media and how it works and we have some hands-on time in a computer lab creating a business Facebook page.
